Membership
North Avenue Presbyterian Church is home to around 700 members and many regular attendees from all parts of metro Atlanta. We are a vibrant, multicultural, and missional church attempting to live out our mission of “Knowing Jesus and Making Him Known.” We encourage those who feel ready to make a deeper commitment to our mission and our church community to join us as members.
Membership Exploration classes are held twice a year. The class begins with dinner in a member’s home on Saturday evening. Those interested in learning more about membership have an opportunity to meet members and staff and enjoy an excellent meal together. On the following two Sunday mornings, we gather again for a deeper discussion of who Jesus is and our relationship to Him, as well as time to become better acquainted with some of our pastors and church leaders and the mission and vision of our church. At the end of the class, those who are ready can join the church and begin the process of finding a place to connect in our church family. Childcare is provided during the class on Sunday morning, and children are welcome to come to dinner on Saturday night. Registration prior to the class is required.
