Learn More About Ministry to Chinese Students & Scholars

Every Sunday we see Chinese students, scholars and children among us. Who are these people? Why are they here? Are they Christians? How is God working in this ministry? What is North Avenue’s investment in this ministry?

Join us for "Blessed to be a Blessing:  Ministry at the Intersection of City, Church and Campus" as part of the Foundations series on Sundays, April 23 and 30 at 10 a.m.

Part 1:  April 23 at 10 a.m. in the Gym: Dan Lowery, Jason Chen, and Jasmine Shi share about this exciting ministry. You’ll learn about the different groups of Chinese people who come and how North Avenue reaches out to them. From children to middle-aged adults, there are opportunities to build relationships and present the Gospel—and there are ways that you can be involved! Come hear what happens when those who have never heard the Gospel encounter the living Christ. Yao Tang and Lucy Shen, GT students and members of North Avenue, will tell their personal stories.

Part 2:  April 30 at 10 a.m. in the Sanctuary:  Matt Seadore shares about the 2015 mission trip to China, and talks about some of the unique ways that we can work with students and scholars who have gone back to China and how this work for the kingdom blesses North Avenue as well.  Sheng Dai and Tingting Wang will tell their stories. Ken Buxton will share his experience meeting up with our North Avenue brothers and sisters in Shenzhen, China.
