Becca Hermes

INTERIM Contemporary Worship Leader,
North Avenue Presbyterian Church

Becca Hermes grew up at NAPC. In high school, she sang in the choir and was part of the first contemporary worship band. She went to Vanderbilt for college, then lived in China for a year. After that, she worked with Cru at Georgia Tech and Agnes Scott for seven years. For the last six years, she has been working at Reformed Theological Seminary in Atlanta, where she also earned her M.A. (Religion). In January, Becca went back on staff with Cru. She will be doing adult Bible teaching ministry here in Atlanta once she finishes raising her support. Becca has been married to Nagib for five years. She enjoys reading happy fiction, drinking chai lattes, and hearing people's stories. Oh — and if you do a double-take on Sunday because you think Kim Goldsmith is leading worship, there's a good reason for that: they're sisters! You can get in touch with Becca at
