One of North Avenue's strategic initiatives in the coming years is the development of "whole Gospel small groups." We hope that small groups have elements of evangelism and mission, prayer and worship, and Bible study and fellowship. North Avenue's Small Group Ministry is active and always growing--which is why all of the individual groups are not listed here. We've created a few small groups categories to help you decide which might appeal to you most. We want to help you find a place for you to worship, grow, and go with other people seeking Jesus. We want everyone at North Avenue to be a part of a small group, something we believe to be an important part of faith development and an integral part of learning about and being a part of Christian community. Contact Kay Carlson at kay@napc.org to connect to a group (even if you have no idea what you're looking for, Kay can help direct you to the right group!).

Regional groups meet for Bible study, prayer, and fellowship at locations all over Atlanta. They are open to adults of any age, gender, marital status, or life stage, and help remind us that life in community is life more fully lived. These groups are based on the location of attendees. Some groups consist of various ages and stages of life.
We also have other affinity small groups based on common interest or cause such as the end of human trafficking in Atlanta, developing a deeper prayer life, or interest in a certain region of the world. Contact Kay at kay@napc.org to see if a group is already meeting and praying over the topic you are interested in. If not, we are always looking for leaders to guide small groups around a cause and unite in the mission of Jesus!
These groups are uniquely designed to connect you to a community to journey together with and towards Christ. If you're looking for a place to connect with other people who are facing the same things in life as you, try an age & stage group! We encourage these groups to really embrace doing life together, offering support and encouragement to one another beyond the confines of group meetings.
Every Sunday between 10 & 11 a.m., classes meet around North Avenue's campus to learn more about who Jesus is, an essential part of growth as Christ followers. Discipleship at North Avenue is not so much about conveying information as it is about transformation—through solid, skilled teaching of scripture, and constant immersion in applied Biblical principles made understandable and practical. Most classes have a limited amount of lecture time and focus instead on discussion. We’re all in this together! See a list of classes to the right.
What to include in the e-mail: Tell us what kind of group you're looking for; is location or topic of study more important? Do you want to connect with people your age or meet a more diverse group? Let us know the best way to contact you and we'll get back to you as soon as possible!
