Prayer Requests
Since the founding of North Avenue Presbyterian Church in 1898, prayer has undergirded everything we do. For the past century we as a church have been praying individually and corporately that God would show us where to join in God's great story of redemption.
North Avenue leaders (elders, deacons, and staff) receive a weekly prayer list to continually pray for the needs of the congregation, city, and world. Every Wednesday evening a faithful group called the Prayer Warriors meet to pray over the list and other needs. We have seen God work miracles in seemingly hopeless situations, and faithfully answer prayers again and again.
