The church leadership has heard you.
We need new energy. We need to be more deeply engaged in ministry.
We need to unify all of our ministries under one vision. We're making a plan to get there:
|
 |
| The first stage of our plan wants to help you find your passion for service. |
| LIGHT THE FIRE TO SERVICE WITH THE 3 E'S |
- ENGAGE: We want to let you know clearly how you can engage with our church family’s vision, carrying it out through mission work.
- ENTHUSE: We want to get you excited by helping you understand your spiritual gifts, and showing you how those tie into the vision.
- ENRAPTURE: The Holy Spirit moves people to serve. We want you to experience that closeness with God.
|
| The second stage equips you to serve. This church wants you to become the 4 C’s. |
| ENABLE SERVICE WITH THE 4 C’S |
- COMMITTED: Together, we must understand that God works through people to realize His will.
Let us commit to working for Him!
- CONCERNED: To see God’s work performed through you, we’ll help you figure out how you plug into
achieving the vision. What is at stake for you in our vision?
- CONNECTED: Our ministries must be unified, each one furthering the church’s overarching vision. Each
ministry will develop an action plan to ensure it stays focused on the big picture.
- CONSECRATED: In serving, we all fulfill our true purpose: being devoted servants of Christ.
|
| That’s a lot of talk about vision. What is our vision? |
| VISION |
Our vision is to know Jesus and make Him known.
|
| How will this vision change NAPC? |
| APPLICATION |
| We must rigorously apply the vision— |
- Do the content and style of worship reflect the vision?
- How can we use church facilities throughout the week to build internal strength and external focus?
- Is our Christian education sufficient for its purposes?
- Do we offer enough opportunities for seekers?
- Do we serve visitors who walk through our doors?
- Is our participation in mission broad, rather than relying on a few individuals?
